Faith, Family, and Country: The Original Version
Differentiating it from its ten copies, this original version includes vegetable tanned goatskin on the lower half of the front, back, and spine; a limited edition medallion struck entirely from copper sheathing removed from the hull of the USS Constitution during regular overhaul in 1974; scratch resistant Plexiglas for the bookboards and cover window; and a more complicated binding technique. Inside, the facsimiles of pages of the logs and journals are printed in sepia. |

Faith, Family, and Country: The Ten Copies
The ten copies differ from the original book in simpler binding technique, design, and less deluxe materials. A PETG copolyester sheet was used for the cover window and the lower half of the cover was dyed to match the leather of the original book. Inside, the log and journal excerpts are printed in black and white. |
